Back to School 2026-2027

We are so glad you have chosen Westfield Washington Schools for your child's education! Registration is only for students that are new to the district and/or if you have a child entering Kindergarten.

Students who attended WWS in the 2025-2026 school year are required to update their demographics and student information ahead of the 2026-2027 school year. Please log in to PowerSchool using the button below. Select the 2026-2027 Enrollment Confirmation Icon (lower left side) and follow the prompts.

Textbook rental fees will be covered by the State of Indiana again this school year.  This includes textbooks, workbooks, and technology devices essential for a basic education.

Students will be charged consumable fees, which cover specific class fees and supplies to enhance the educational experience. The fee amounts will be comparable to previous years. For grades K-6, the fee will be around $36 per student. For grades 7-12, the fee will depend on the students' course selection, with additional costs for advanced placement, dual credit, and CTE classes.

A new application for free/reduced fees must be completed each school year. The Application for Free or Reduced Meals and Other Benefits will become available prior to the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

If your family qualifies for free or reduced-price benefits through SNAP, TANF, FDPIR Benefits, or Foster Care, you do not need to complete the online application.

However, if there are additional students in your household not listed on the approval letter you received from Westfield Washington Schools, please notify us so we can ensure they are included in your benefits.

The Indiana Department of Health requires all students meet the school immunization requirements by the first day of school. Immunization records or exemptions must be received by the school nurse by August 17, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Please be aware, students entering grades 6th and 12th have additional immunizations. Please check the table below.

Immunizations can be given at the Hamilton County Health Department (pre-registration is required), your child’s healthcare providers office, local minute clinics, Trinity Free Clinic, or Heart and Soul Clinic, local pharmacies. For questions, contact your healthcare provider. The required vaccines are listed below according to your students' grade.

Please note: If your child is not receiving immunizations for Religious or Medical reasons, the exemption forms must be signed/received at the start of every school year and are also due to the school nurse by August 17th. Forms can be found here.

A new parent opportunity: Westfield-Washington School District has licensed the Frontline Health Portal to provide you with convenient, 24-hour online access to items in your child’s health record. Access HERE

Immunization Forms

PowerSchool Parent Portal is Westfield Washington Schools’ secure, online student information system, connecting you to your child’s school experience. It provides real-time access to your child’s attendance, grades, class schedule, and more. At WWS, it also allows families to report absences and pay school consumable fees—all in one convenient place.

Once you create a Parent Portal account, you'll be able to:

• View your child’s class schedule
• Monitor grades and attendance
• Report an absence
• Pay school fees and track balances

Creating a Parent Portal account is required to access these features. While the mobile app is helpful for quick updates, many key functions—like fee payments and full schedules—are only available on the desktop version.

To create your account, you’ll need an Access ID and Access Password. If you haven’t received this information, please contact your child’s school.

There will be lots of chances for you to visit your child in school, but you'll have to register with SafeVisitor and complete your background check. This is done for the safety of your children and our staff. You can assist in their classroom, chaperone field trips, meet them for lunch and much more. Your child(ren)'s teacher and/or principal will keep you updated with all of the opportunities.

Before and After Care

If you have a child in kindergarten through sixth grade, they can be signed up for Before & After Care (BAC). Spots are limited and they fill up quickly. If there is no spot for your child(ren), they can be placed on a waiting list. Click the button below for more information.

Daycare (TOTS)

Our daycare program goes from eight weeks old until preschool and is primarily for children of employees, which is why it is called TOTS (Toddlers of Teachers and Staff). If there are daycare slots remaining after our staff has been taken care of, we open the additional slots to the community. Westfield Washington Schools uses TalkingPoints to communicate with families. TalkingPoints allows for seamless multilingual two-way communication between teachers and families. Additional tools like speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and closed captioned videos make this program accessible to all of our Westfield families. Families can choose to receive messages via SMS text messaging or through the free app.

The most important thing you can do to ensure you are receiving messages from your child’s teacher is to make sure your contact information for the “Father” and “Mother” fields in PowerSchool is correct. When a teacher sends out a message, TalkingPoints will automatically use those two phone numbers. If you’d like to add additional contacts, please reach out to your child’s teacher(s).

Our transportation department is committed to the safe and efficient transport of students, whether for daily trips to school, field trips, athletics, or other special events. To add a new student to a bus route, you must contact the transportation department at transportation@wws.k12.in.us.
