Rocks Media House

Rocks Media House is Westfield Washington Schools’ in-house media production studio and creative agency.

We serve Westfield High School students, the school district, and community partners by producing professional-quality photography, video, and communications. Led by two full-time professionals, our full-service studio is located in Shamrock Station.

Video/Audio Production Class

Studio-Based Training in Video and Audio Production

Rocks Media House hosts a Video/Audio Production class that gives students hands-on experience in media creation. Students work with our full-time creative professionals to actively create, collaborate, and develop skills in a professional-style environment.

This class brings together students from multiple disciplines to plan, create, and refine media projects. Students dive into projects as videographers, editors, directors, and producers while learning teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving. Each student leaves with a start to their professional portfolio plus hands-on experience most other students don’t gain until college.

Rocks Media House Internship

Applied Media Production with Community Clients

The Rocks Media House Internship gives selected Westfield High School students hands-on experience working alongside professional creatives on media projects. Interns support video, photography, and digital media work for Westfield Washington Schools and community initiatives.

Students assist with client projects from planning to final delivery, helping with studio photoshoots, video production, equipment setup, and post-production editing while learning how professional media teams manage projects and deliver work for clients.

Through this experience, students build production skills, develop confidence, and gain insight into the media industry while creating portfolio-ready work.

Shawn Davis

Multimedia Producer, Westfield Washington Schools
Co-Teacher, Video Production — Westfield High School
Shawn Davis is a Multimedia Producer for Westfield Washington Schools and a co-lead of Rocks Media House, focusing on professional-level video production, photography, and creative content development used across district communications. His work includes producing content for web, social media, and live events, with an emphasis on clear storytelling, strong visuals, and industry-standard production practices. Prior to his work with WWS, Shawn produced multimedia content for small businesses and organizations, gaining hands-on experience with client-based projects, marketing goals, and real-world production.
Shawn also co-teaches Video Production at Westfield High School, where students gain hands-on experience with real-world media workflows. With over ten years in education and content creation, he helps students develop technical skills, creative confidence, and an understanding of what it means to work in professional media environments.

Bailey Ruble

Multimedia Producer, Westfield Washington Schools
Co-Teacher, Video Production — Westfield High School
Bailey Ruble is a Multimedia Producer for Westfield Washington Schools and one of the creative co-leads behind Rocks Media House. Since joining WWS in 2021, Bailey has provided district-wide photography, video production, live streaming, social media content, and digital storytelling. Before joining WWS, Bailey worked as a designer, motion graphics artist, and illustrator, creating digital media for a variety of clients. Her experience includes professional design and animation work with Ball State University as well as mural and large-format illustration projects for national retailers such as Walmart.
Bailey also co-teaches Video Production at Westfield High School, where students learn about visual storytelling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animation from Ball State University and brings a background in design, and production into both district communications and student learning.
