The mission of the WIS counseling department is to support the WIS school community in facilitating the academic, personal/social, and career growth of all students. By collaborating with teachers, parents, community members, and students, the counseling staff strives to develop a healthy, productive, meaningful, and a safe learning environment for all.
Amanda Hancock - 5th Grade
Mrs. Hancock is excited to be returning to WIS for the 2019-2020 school year and is the counselor for 5th grade. She was an elementary teacher for 10 years and she was a counselor at Noblesville High School. She enjoys spending time with her famliy and friends, being outstide, taking pictures, eating sushi, being crafty, and listening to music.
Todd Lentz - 6th Grade
Mr. Lentz is excited to be part of the WIS community for the 2019-2020 school year. He has been working at an elementary school in Chicago for 8 years where he served as a 5th grade teacher, middle school science teacher, and school counselor. He also enjoyed coaching basektball and high school girls soccer.
Jennifer Sargent - 5th and 6th Grade
Mrs. Sargent is so excited to be starting her 16th year at WIS! She has loved being a part of this building's many transitions! She was an elementary school counselor in Redondo Beach, CA for 4 years before moving to Indiana and becoming a part of the WIS family. Her youngest daughter, Brynn, will be attending 5th grade here while her oldest, Reese, moves on to WMS. Her family was obsessed with the World Cup Women's team this Summer! She also loves to read, travel, play and watch her daughter's play soccer, and is very happy on any patio!
