Medical/HSA BENEFITS
The amount you pay for your medical or medical/dental coverage depends on which plan and what level of coverage you choose. Premiums are calculated on 24 equal pay deductions. Open enrollment occurs annually in the fall with new benefits effective on January 1. The Anthem Website www.anthem.com provides an extensive amount of information and provides those enrolled in the medical or vision plan to view claims and order ID cards.
Your per pay medical premium deduction for 2025 benefits begins on 12/5/2024 payroll and benefits are effective on 1/1/2025.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)
A UMB Bank Health Savings Account (HSA) is associated for those enrolled in a high deductible plan only. (HDHP 1 OR HDHP 2) During the online enrollment process you will indicate the per pay HSA deduction that will start with the 1/5/2025 payroll. The next step is for employees who enroll in a high deductible health plan and have previously not opened a health savings account (HSA) through UMB Bank. Click on the link below and follow the instructions to open your new HSA account. HSA payroll deductions can start, stop or be changed at any time during the year by contacting the Benefits Coordinator. The brochure below contains all information associated with an HSA along with instructions on opening your online account with UMB Bank.
The annual IRS contribution maximum will increase to $4,300 for employee-only coverage and $8,550 for all other coverage levels. The age 55 & older $1,000 catch-up contribution remains the same.
