English Learners
EL Programs and Services
Westfield Washington Schools is committed to supporting the English language development and academic success of our multilingual students. Through inclusive practices, culturally responsive instruction, and collaboration between EL teachers and classroom teachers, we ensure that every student has access to rigorous, meaningful learning experiences. Our goal is to empower multilingual learners to thrive academically, socially, and linguistically in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Multilingual Family Support and Engagement
Westfield Washington Schools is proud to introduce Abnerys Jimenez and Mariana Cobos Escobar, our Multilingual Family Liaisons. Abnerys and Mariana work closely with families, teachers, and staff to help support the success of our multilingual students. They are here to assist with communication, connect families to school and community resources, and help navigate topics like enrollment, attendance, transportation, and school events.
If you need support or have questions, they are here to help make sure your family feels welcomed, informed, and empowered in our school community.
