Curricular Materials & Student Fees

For the 2024-25 school year, families will NOT be charged for student textbooks, however Westfield Washington Schools will reinstate student fees in the 2024-25 school year.

During the 2023-2024 school year, WWS did not charge student fees to families because the State of Indiana and Indiana Department of Education amended the textbook adoption process, taking responsibility for all student textbook and curricular fees.  Many school districts across Indiana, including WWS, paid for all costs associated with textbook adoption including all student fees. 

However, for the 2024-2025 school year, we will be charging for student fees associated with specific classes as well as consumable supplies. Fee amounts will be very similar to previous years. Grades K-6 will be approximately $30 per student. Grades 7-12 will depend on the students’ course selection, with advanced placement, dual credit and CTE classes adding costs.  More information will be sent out as the school year approaches.
