Non-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment Statement

 

WWS is committed to providing a safe environment in which students can learn. WWS shall maintain a nondiscriminatory environment protecting students and staff from discrimination and harassment.

WWS does not discriminate on the basis of a protected class including but not limited to race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, ancestry, sex, transgender status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression in the programs or activities which it operates or the employment therein or admission thereto. Further, within employment, WWS does not discriminate on the basis of marital status or veteran’s status. WWS strictly adheres to all non-discrimination and anti-harassment laws and does not tolerate acts of harassment. WWS encourages any student, staff, parent, or visitor, to report suspected discrimination whether they themselves are the target or not. The following leaders are coordinators of non-discrimination who will investigate complaints of discrimination consistent with board policy:

WWS is committed to conducting prompt investigations of reported discrimination. WWS prohibits retaliation against persons who report allegations of discrimination or participate in related process. Students or employees who retaliate against individuals who report allegations of discrimination will be promptly disciplined.
