Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. Members of the club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing, and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions.
The LEO Club gives young people the opportunity to serve their communities and make a positive impact. The club is sponsored by the Westfield Lions Club. The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. Students will develop skills as a project organizer, time manager, and team leader. In addition, they will learn how teamwork and collaboration can make an impact on the community and the world and will make friends and connections that will present lifelong opportunities. The club performs various service projects and fundraisers including a fish fry, pancake breakfast, scholarship fundraiser, and Christmas giving event.
Interact Club is a club for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. It is sponsored by the Westfield Rotary Club. Through Interact, members can carry out hands-on service projects, make international connections, develop leadership skills, and have fun! Our Interact club carries out two service projects a year: one that helps our school or the Westfield community and one that promotes international understanding. Deciding what those are is up to the members. Members can connect with RYLA and Rotary Youth Exchange Programs to find those opportunities or come up with their own.
