Westfield Washington Schools' Before and After School Programs (BAC) grades K--4 and Zone 58 grades 5 through age 13.  These programs provide before and/or after school fee-based services in each elementary schools and the Intermediate school.

The BAC program is designed to offer childcare before school, after school, during holiday breaks at each of our K-4 elementary schools.  Zone 58, designed for children in grades 5 through age 13, is offered at Westfield Intermediate School.  Zone 58 offers a preteen club atmosphere with before and after school activities as well as supervision during holiday breaks and summer.  All staff are employed and trained as Westfield Washington School employees, and the programs are governed through the Student Support Programs Governing Board.

    2018-2019 Enrollment Deadlines and Details
In order to assure program quality and safety, the 2018-19 BAC and Zone 58 Program has limited enrollment at each school.  Several plans are available in both BAC and Zone 58. Non-school full and partial days are accommodated in a variety of ways based upon the enrolled plan. Full details of what each plan includes may be found in the 2018-19 Matrix and Fee Schedule.  The programs are fee-based and require families to enroll through the EZ ChildTrack link found in the right hand column.

Early enrollment submitted between May 1—July 31, 2018 is processed on a first come/first serve basis providing there is no past due balance on the parent account and enrollment space is available at the child’s school location. An email will be sent confirming when the enrollment has been accepted. BAC or Zone 58 services will then be available on the first day of school.

Enrollment submitted between August 1—9 is processed on a first come/first serve basis providing there is no past due balance on the parent account and enrollment space is available at the child’s school location. An email will be sent confirming the enrollment has been accepted. BAC or Zone 58 services are available starting August 13, 2018.

Enrollment submitted after August 9 will be considered based on a first come/first serve basis providing there is no past due balance on the parent account and there is remaining space available at the child’s school locations. The parent will receive an email regarding the enrollment status. Depending on available space in the program, BAC or Zone 58 services are available two business days after the confirmed enrollment.

    Parent/Teacher Conference Days
If your child is enrolled in any of the 2018-19 School Year Plans, these plans include full day child care at no additional cost to attend on Parent/Teacher Conference Days.  If your child is not enrolled in the Occasional Care Plan, you may use BAC or Zone 58 services on these days with advanced notice to your BAC Lead, and your account will be charged the Occasional Care daily rate.

    Wednesdays AM Only Plan
Throughout the 2018-19 school year, the school district will have a delayed start time every Wednesday to allow for staff development.  On these delayed start days, BAC and Zone 58 will be remain open in each of the elementary schools and the intermediate school to accomodate child care needs for our families.  The Wednesdays AM Plan at each elementary building is available from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. and at WIS from 7:15 to 8:18 a.m.  Submit enrollment through EZ ChildTrack.  This plan has a $10 registration fee per child.  The fee for Wednesdays AM Only Plan is $5 and is billed based on the child's attendance each Wednesday.

    Break Plans
Break plans are separate plans and require online enrollment to be submitted by specific dates noted below.  In addition to your child's school year BAC/Zone 58 enrollment, you have the option to select specific days during each break your child will be attending.  Families who are not enrolled in 2018-19 BAC or Zone 58 may submit enrollment to attend only during specified breaks.  Each break is open for online enrollment until two weeks prior to the start of the break.  Families may cancel their child's break enrollment by the same deadline date, two weeks prior to the start of each break.  2018-19 BAC and Zone 58 break care location will be at Maple Glen Elementary.
