Nurse's Clinic

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE: CHANGES TO THE 2020-21 STATE REQUIRED VACCINES. Grades 8-12 students must provide a record of one of the following: proof of two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine or a religious objection or a medical exception to the vaccine.  The Hepatitis A vaccine series requires two doses given at least 6 months apart.  See School Required Immunizations for additional information. 
     
    MEDICATION PERMISSIONS- Expire at the end of the school year and must be updated in Powerschool before the start of the new school year in order for the nurse give your child an school provided medication.  Please review medical information and provide update information so that the school nurse provide the best possible care for your child. 
     
    All Westfield school health clinics are staffed by a Registered Nurses provided by Riverview Health Network. The health clinic is intended to provide care for students who become ill or injured during the school day, as well as provide nursing care for students that require special medical procedures during school hours.
     
    Our school nurses are dedicated and passionate in their work of advancing the well-being, academic success and lifelong achievement and health of students. The nurses work to promote positive responses to normal growth and development, promote health and safety, identify and respond to actual and potential health problems, and actively work with students and families to help adapt, self-manage, and self-advocate in the school environment.
